From Julia, Founder of The True Frame

The Frame Has Always Been There
I didn’t build The True Frame from a business plan.
I built it from 25 years of being inside the rooms where culture gets made.
From the creative floors of MTV in New York to the studios of National Geographic in Paris and to creating the culture of the TNT Sports team in London, I spent two and a half decades at the precise intersection of storytelling, craft, and cultural ambition.
I know what it feels like when a vision lands.
And I know what it costs when it doesn’t.
What Those Years Taught Me
Every brand I worked with was about fighting the same quiet battle: the distance between what a creative team sees in their mind and what they can make people feel.
That gap is where ideas die.
That gap is what The True Frame was built to close.
Not with more technology.
With better vision. Sharper authorship. And the right talents to carry it.
Why Now
When A.I arrived in the creative world, most conversations went immediately to speed and scale.
I went to authorship.
Because after 25 years watching the greatest creative minds in the industry work at MTV, at Disney, at Warner Bros. I understood one thing with absolute clarity: the tool has never been the point. The intention behind it always was.
The True Frame exists because this moment, this extraordinary, chaotic, generative moment, needs people who know the difference between an image that was made and an image that was meant.
What We Are Building
A bureau. Not a platform.
A collective. Not a marketplace.
A cultural position. Not a service offering.
The True Frame represents directors, visual artists, and hybrid thinkers and makers who use A.I. to expand a vision never to replace the act of having one. We produce films, visual narratives, and creative direction for the brands, agencies, and studios who still believe that the most powerful stories begin with a human decision.
We work in London and Paris.
We are craft and technology.
We are the frame that gives the image a reason to exist.
